This report is the basis of the Credentium platform's accessibility statement. Date of assessment: .

Scope

Part of the platformPages and states checked
Issuer panelsign-in; list and details of digital credentials; revocation dialog; issuing wizard; template list, editor and new template (simple, advanced, import); organisation; statistics; user profile with the two-step verification settings; “not found” page
Walletsign-in; invalid invitation page; dashboard; my digital credentials and the credential menu; credential details; collections; profile; portfolio; “not found” pages
Public pagespublic digital credential page with the verification dialog; public portfolio; unavailable credential page; “not found” page on the public address

Pages are checked in Polish. Pages available without signing in are also checked in English. PDF files of digital credentials and the Credentium Wallet mobile application are outside the scope of this assessment.

Method

  • Automated tests: axe-core 4.13 (through @axe-core/playwright) in Chromium, WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 rules at levels A and AA. The tests run after every deployment of the platform to the test environment. Every violation they find is a defect to fix.
  • A check that the page language (the lang attribute) matches the language of the text shown.
  • A manual keyboard-only check: the “Skip to main content” link, visible focus, focus order, no keyboard traps and focus returning after a dialog closes. Paths checked: sign-in with two-step verification, opening and closing the revocation dialog in the issuer panel, the credential menu in the wallet, the verification dialog on the public credential page.

Automated tests find only part of the problems described in WCAG. We will carry out a full manual evaluation, including screen readers, once the PDF files are accessible.

Results

Measurement before the fixes (15 October 2026)

On the 32 pages checked, the tests found violations, mostly repeated in the page layout:

  • language picker and list filters without a label (success criterion 4.1.2);
  • insufficient contrast of grey supporting text and green buttons (1.4.3);
  • a logo link with an overridden role, a button without a name, form fields without labels (2.4.4, 4.1.2);
  • an invalid list structure in the breadcrumb navigation (1.3.1);
  • a “show password” button that was too small (2.5.8);
  • “not found” pages without a language and a title (2.4.2, 3.1.1);
  • after signing in, the issuer panel showed English text on a page marked as Polish (3.1.1).

Outside the tests: no “Skip to main content” link (2.4.1) and styles that hid the keyboard focus (2.4.7).

Fixes

We fixed all the problems listed above in the platform code. We added a “Skip to main content” link on every page, labels in all 24 interface languages and a clear keyboard focus indicator. We changed text colours to colours with a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1. The keyboard check found two more problems, which we also fixed: after a dialog closed, focus did not return to the button that opened it, and the credential card menu in the wallet did not close with the Escape key.

Measurement after the fixes (15 October 2026, test environment)

  • Automated tests: 50 of 50 checks passed. No page or open dialog checked has any violation of the WCAG A and AA rules. Page languages match the text, the “Skip to main content” link works and no invisible elements are in the Tab order.
  • Account creation pages in the issuer panel and the wallet: no violations.
  • Keyboard check: 31 of 31 checks correct.
